<td class=”stock-table” valign=”top”>EN8 also know as 080M40. An unalloyed medium carbon steel. EN8 is a medium strength steel, good tensile strength. Suitable for shafts, stressed pins, studs, keys etc.Available as normalised or rolled. EN8 is supplied as round drawn/turned, round hot rolled, hexagon, square, flats and plate. AISI 1040, werkstoff 1.1186.We can also supply EN8D bar with hard chrome plating.

<td class=”stock-table” valign=”top”>EN9, also known as 070m55, available in diameters, flats, squares and plates with a carbon content 0.50/0.60 this is a medium carbon steel which can develop a tensile strength of 700N/mm 45tsi. EN14 also known as 150m19. A medium tensile strength carbon manganese steel suitable for welding. EN14 can be hardened and tempered to 550-850N/mm2. EN14 offers good ductility combined with excellent shock resistance. AISI 1524, werkstoff 1.1160.

It is renown for its wear resistance properties and where high strength properties is required. Suitable for gears, shafts, spindles, etc. AISI 4140, werkstoff 1.7225.We can also supply EN19T bar with hard chrome plating.</td>
