316 Seamless Steel Tube & Pipe
Grade 316 also known as Grade 1.4404 is a very popular grade in the commercial world only the common 304 grade is used more. 316 stainless steel contains an added molybdenum that gives it better corrosion resistance. This is great for services that need to expose the metal to corrosion elements such as chloride.
316 is suited in applications in heavy gauge (plus 6mm) welded solutions. However, if higher temperatures are used during processing or final form then similar garages such a grade 316Ti stainless steel should be used for a better final product.
It is generally ready to be brake or roll formed, welded, soldered and cut by both modern thermal and mechanical methods. The austenitic grade structure gives excellent durability and robustness, even down to cryogenic temperatures
316 Stainless Steel Grade Pipe
This pipe belongs to the 300 series of pipes, specifically grade 316. This series of pipes are used widely, most of them have a strength of corrosion resistance, heat resistance and good chemical performance.
